Nature's Window

A poetic photo series by Alyssa Ruiz

The world reflects how I should see,

the vines they twist and bend so free

They breathe, adapt, express and sing,

oh, what joy and peace they bring

In the storm, trees crash and shake,

yet still their purpose will never break

The wind will hiss with rain and thunder,

but maybe that’s their praise, I wonder

If they transform, then so should I,

my heart cries out, my growth is nigh

I stare in awe at the sights I adore,

the world presents me an open door.
